I think this commission for Geoklix: Geoklix www.geoklix.com/ has dethroned all the others as 'the one I've worked the most and the hardest on', this was many many many hours of tiny details and switching between my three main art programs to do various tasks.
100+ trees (and I didn't copy and paste a single one)
40+ buildings
25+ vehicles
15+ people
With everything having to have their own tones and cast shadows, worrying about the perspective, picking appropriate colours, trying to draw unique structures and make it look like an actual small town, getting the various lettering right, making sure the background and foreground stood apart and doing it as a vector this was an exhausting thing I can be very proud of.
The artstyle may have been simple but I would say that this commission was anything but. I'm extremely happy to be able to add this to my portfolio, I need more stuff like it.
